Clay and Mommy Zoo Date

Clay and I spent Thursday at the zoo so we could have some extra one on one time before big kids are out for summer. First stop is always touching the big world:

Clay was wanting to see the elephants first off.

They do not make viewing the flamingos easy for short kids. Lots of them were keeping their eggs warm under those giant mounds.

There were also some baby monkeys, super sweet!

                     All Aboard!!!!!

He wanted to pet the goats, in theory.

Last stop, shot with the tigers and then he spotted a fly and freaked out. Love this sweet, spunky boy!

While Daddy is away. . .

When daddy was gone on his trip we tried to stay busy. We made bread,

                 Shopped in hats,
     Spent time with great-grandparents
         and Maw Maw and Bubba,

                  Played baseball,

             Played family baseball,

         Celebrated our year of Awanas,

Had a play date just with Clay,

                      Made PizzaS,
        Went to the movies twice,

          And missed Daddy a lot!

Awanas Celebration

Wednesday, May 21st we had our Awana Awards night at church. Clay was very loud during the whole thing. I think he thought it was an interactive celebration. Cole was able to FaceTime us from his trip to see the kids sing. So proud of the kiddos with all their scripture memory!

Drillers vs. cardinals

We went to the Drillers game last week as a family outing before Cole left on his trip. It was a lot of fun! We managed to get a total of 6 balls and a player have Coleman his bat! We are now Springfield Cardinals fans because they were so nice!

Family Camp

We went to family camp the early part of April. It was so much fun! We are of course the winning family for the second year in a row for the family competition. We had a great time fishing, boating, zip lining, going on the pamper pole, going on the screamer, hay riding, and hanging out with church friends! Can't wait for our camp next year!
