Easter

This was our first Easter to have no one in town.
Normally, Coleman's birthday party is the same weekend, but Easter was so early this year.
We dyed eggs.
Yes, Coleman isn't wearing a shirt.
My need for a stain free shirt won over a cute picture.

Easter Baskets:

Our Easter egg hunt was indoors.
I only have pictures of Clay,
because by the time it was the big kids
turn we were all sorta melting down.

Clay likes to sit in the sound booth and watch Veggie Tales.

Colt and Clay joined in the hunt together.

Easter Lunch at our house.
Normally, my mom fries chicken.
This year we just had ham as our meat.
We had two families over from our church.
We had French Silk pie, which has become our families tradition for dessert.

Soccer

Coleman played soccer again this spring.
He totally dominated the whole league!
Not to brag or be biased of course.

I really do love watching my kids play sports.
Cole did an awesome job coaching, lots of patience!

Spring Break

For Spring break we started our week off with the youth group on their mission trip.
We served, enjoyed a Thunder game, played in a water park and had lots of fun.

On the way to Maw Maw and Bubba's Clay started feeling bad.
The first stop was a trip to Urgent Care where he was diagnosed with an ear infection.
2 days later Coleman got a 24 hour stomach bug.
The trip wasn't as fun for the kiddos.
As we were packing at the end of the week to go back home,
Clay fell on my parents steps and broke his arm.
So, before we could begin our car trip we had to go back to Urgent Care.
The four hour car trip home was not fun.
The next day Clay was able to get his arm casted.
The cast lasted for four weeks, and hopefully we won't be making any more trips to Urgent Care.

Y snacks

Coleman got the letter y for snack helper at school.
What is yummy that starts with a y?
We decided to make yellow, yummy cupcakes with Ys.

Who doesn't love to cook in their Dallas Cowboy football uniform?
