Six Flags

Sunday we went to church like any normal Sunday. I started talking to the one of the college teachers and he told me they were going to 6 Flags. I'm not sure he really asked us to come, but when he told me they had extra tickets and hotel rooms I said we'll go! 

We would be leaving that afternoon for a quick trip to Arlington. We rode in the church vans and got to our hotel about 10. The next morning our family had fun at 6 Flags and then drove back home. Clay fell asleep for 15 minutes from the hotel to Spring Creek. He woke up in the worst 

Mood!!!! He wanted lemonade, but they didn't have any. He then wanted root beer. I don't normally let him have the kind with the caffeine, but we were desperate to get him to calm down. The four hour trip home he was very happy and very awake. I think we got home at 12am. The root beer was worth it!!!!

VBS family fun night

VBS family fun night was truly that, FUN! When you're older 2 run off and have fun with their friends you do not get any pictures of them. When you chase your three-year-old around all night you get lots of pictures of him! Clay had a blast. There were waterslides,water balloons, dunking pastors, anything involving water you could imagine! Thanks to our church for putting on such a fun night!

First week of summer

TOur first week of summer has been great. I am going to try and do our summer/ posts as a week in review.

Monday: we went to the gym and played. Coleman had his baseball party and got the award Mr. Hustle! 

Tuesday we headed to the zoo with friends and them went swimming.

Chloe is loving her summer smart chart.

Wednesday all 3 kids got haircuts. Chloe got to do some tumbling and then we went to the pool. We finished te night with some icecream!

Thursday we headed to youth camp. This was my first time to go it Falls Creek. We stopped by to get some fried pies.

After Falls Creek we headed to Gigi and Papa's house. Of course we had to swim!

       We finally learned how to dive!

After our swimming we headed to Babes to celebrate the June Birthdays! 

    Then headed to get some gelato.

And of course we had to swim some   

                        more!!

Last Day of School

The last day of school was May 30th! It's hard to believe this year is already over. We had a fun breakfast before Chloe and Coleman headed off to the last day of Second grade and kindergarten. 

Clay and Mommy Zoo Date

Clay and I spent Thursday at the zoo so we could have some extra one on one time before big kids are out for summer. First stop is always touching the big world:

Clay was wanting to see the elephants first off.

They do not make viewing the flamingos easy for short kids. Lots of them were keeping their eggs warm under those giant mounds.

There were also some baby monkeys, super sweet!

                     All Aboard!!!!! 

     He wanted to pet the goats, in theory.

Last stop, shot with the tigers and then he spotted a fly and freaked out. Love this sweet, spunky boy!
